Web to SVG

Our Privacy Policy

Last updated March 2026

This policy covers the Web to SVG browser extension and the webtosvg.com website.

Browser Extension

The Web to SVG extension processes all data locally in your browser. No page content, images, or SVG exports are sent to our servers or any third party.
User preferences (e.g. export settings, filename patterns) are stored in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage and synced across your devices via your Google account. We do not have access to this data.

Cross-origin resources (fonts, images) are fetched through the extension's background process solely to embed them in your export. These requests go directly to the original resource servers — they do not pass through our infrastructure.

No analytics or tracking are currently collected by the extension. If we introduce anonymous usage analytics in the future (such as feature usage counts), this policy will be updated and the extension will request any additional permissions required.

Website (webtosvg.com)

Hosting analytics: Basic traffic data (page views, visitor counts, country) is collected through our hosting providers (Vercel, Cloudflare). This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

Self-hosted analytics: We may use self-hosted analytics tools (such as Umami) to understand how visitors use the site. These tools do not use cookies, do not track users across sites, and all data is stored on our own infrastructure.

No personal information is collected through the website unless you voluntarily contact us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
